Data Reporting in Education (School Support)

This course introduces school support staff to the basics of data in education, including what is collected and how it is used. Learners will explore data analysis, visualisation, and different reporting methods. You will compare dashboards used to track school performance with those monitoring software usage. The course also covers key areas of data ethics, privacy, and GDPR. By the end, staff will better understand how effective data reporting supports planning and improves outcomes in schools.

This module is designed to give school support staff the essential knowledge and practical skills to manage and report on education data confidently and securely. Through real-life scenarios, you’ll learn how to:
