Create a Collaborative Technology Action Plan for Your Team

This activity is designed to help you translate learning into practical action by identifying how collective technologies and AI can improve collaboration, productivity and decision-making within your team.

Your action plan should include the following three elements:

    1. Leadership initiative for embedding AI tools
      Identify one practical step you or your leadership team could take to encourage the responsible use of AI-enabled tools. This might include introducing AI-supported meeting summaries, promoting Copilot for drafting or analysis, or setting clear expectations for ethical and secure AI use. Focus on how leadership can model effective use and build confidence across the team.
    2. Collaborative practice using Microsoft Teams or Loop
      Describe one way your team could use Teams or Loop to work more openly and collectively. This could involve shared Loop components for live documents, structured Teams channels for projects, or agreed collaboration norms that reduce duplication and improve visibility. Consider how this practice supports shared understanding and inclusive participation.
    3. Data insight from Power BI to inform decision-making
      Select one insight from a Power BI dashboard that could support better decisions in your team. This might relate to workload trends, budget variance, resource allocation or performance indicators. Explain what the insight shows and how it could be used to prompt discussion or action.

Once complete, post your action plan in your Viva Engage Community and review at least one peer submission. Use this space to share ideas, ask questions and provide constructive feedback, helping to build collective confidence and capability across the organisation.
